To become a staff member of the Miami Valley Young Marines their are a few steps that must be taken.  First and foremost you must prove your interest in the program.  Show that we can rely on your attendance to our meetings.  After that should talk to the Executive Officer and Commanding Officer on the needs of the unit and whether or not a job needs filled within the staff and that you meet the needs that the position entails.  A Child protection class must be completed as well as a background check.  Once these requirements are met you must then obtain a registered adult package, fill it out, and then have it submitted to the National Young Marine Headquarters for their review and approval.

Running a unit of this size requires quite a bit of monetary assistance. The Young Marines is a charitable, not for profit (501c3) organization. Any donations can be mailed to:

Not all supporters of our unit make a monetary donation. Many provide us with transportation, supply, food, and other such items that are crutial to the existance of our program. If you think that you may be able to aid the unit in another way please contact the Commanding Officer.
